NEW YORK — Luxury label Louis Vuitton is launching a permanent line of sunglasses for the first time in its 151-year history. The collection, designed by Marc Jacobs, will launch this November at about 16 select Louis Vuitton stores.
The Louis Vuitton sunglass collection distinguishes itself from other luxury sunwear brands on several levels. For one, each pair is priced between $400 and $600, well above most designer sunglasses. They will be made in-house at the luxury brand’s French facilities.
